Slots and the Player Pool

The BCCI has short-listed 574 individuals out of the 1,574 players that were registered in the beginning. In which, 366 Indian players and 208 foreign players (associate nation players included) have made up the breakdown. There are 204 slots available for 10 teams, out of which, 70 are set up for players from other (foreign) countries. The highest base price is ₹2 crore with 81 players in the elite category.
