Republic Day weekend, on January 23, 2026, is when the film is scheduled to open in theatres. Only a few days have passed since Sunny Deol first disclosed Varun Dhawan’s involvement in the film.

The film star Ayushmann Khurrana was allegedly given a role. It was previously reported that Ayushmann Khurrana has received an opportunity to star in “Border 2.” He declined the offer, though, reportedly because he wasn’t sure where he fit in with the big ensemble of performers.
